Individual Specialized Services
Chrysalis Therapy is happy to offer a range of specialized services outside of our regularly offered sessions for individuals looking for more support in their day to day lives. Whether this support is a sensory evaluation and needs assessment, adaptive equipment needs assessment, or parent/staff coaching sessions, we are here to help.
Services Offered Include:
- Sensory Needs Assessment: Our trained Occupational Therapist will come to your home and conduct a sensory needs assessment based on evaluation of your individual’s specific sensory needs. We will include a full writeup and provide you with a list of resources, materials, and activities to promote improved independence and regulation.
- Adaptive Equipment Assessment: We will conduct an evaluation of your home based on your individuals’s daily living needs and provide a writeup including resources and materials which may be beneficial for your child/adult in order to increase their independence.
- Parent/Staff Intensive Coaching Sessions: If you would like more intensive parent/staff coaching sessions we are more than happy to provide this service to you. Intensive sessions will include a breakdown of activities to accomplish specific goals, visual demonstration of how best to work on each goal followed by parent/staff modeling this training back to the therapist, follow-up training, and check-ins to monitor progress, as well as recommendations for specialized trainings as needed.
Services for Area Businesses
Chrysalis Therapy is happy to offer services for businesses with a variety of options for partnering with our company. Whether you are a business who is needing an Occupational Therapist (OT) to see your current client base, a business with an OT department who wants an assessment for productivity/efficiency or needs help updating forms and training, or you are a business who wants to start an OT program we are here to help.
Services provided can range from:
- Partnership- Our Occupational Therapist’s will provide direct Occupational Therapy services to your current client base directly at your business and collaborate with your staff and families on plan of care and goal attainment.
- Implementing OT in your Business – Everything from forms you may need, initial set up/authorizations, session plans, appropriate tools/toys, and much more
- OT Department evaluations- staffing, productivity, morale, etc
- OT Department update- staff training, toy inventory and recommendations, etc
